slow breath, a sudden slackening of the shoulders—these simple acts are, to us, treatments in themselves.

Master Japanese AcupuncturistDaisuke Hiratsuka
Welcome to the Daisuke’s world of acupuncture, now here at Queenstown! As a seasoned practitioner of traditional Japanese acupuncture, Daisuke’s journey began at the age of 18 when he met his first Master in Japan. Recognizing Daisuke’s innate talent and passion for the ancient art, his Master set him on a path of acupuncture study and profound exploration.
During this period of study, Daisuke delved into the intricate wisdom of acupuncture techniques and then honed his craft working in Tokyo for a decade, where he refined his skills and cultivated a deep understanding of the body’s subtle energies.
It was during this transformative period that Daisuke discovered the Nagano technique, a unique approach that seamlessly blends the principles of Eastern and Western medicine. Rooted in the context of modern healthcare, this technique empowers clients to understand the underlying causes of their symptoms, inviting them on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
Daisuke’s holistic approach incorporates a variety of modalities tailored to each individual’s needs.
From the acupuncture to moxibustion and the gentle manipulation of shiatsu massage, each treatment is designed to restore balance and harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. Cupping, electro-acupuncture, and gua sha are also used to address specific concerns.
Drawing upon his Japanese culture, Daisuke infuses each session with a gentle, intentional energy, creating a sacred space for healing to unfold. From the soft glow of ambient lighting to the soothing aroma of incense, every element is thoughtfully curated to engage all the senses and evoke a deep sense of tranquility.
People seek out Daisuke’s expertise for many reasons. Whether dealing with chronic pain, stress-related ailments, or unresolved emotional issues, Daisuke helps to clear the fog surrounding unknown physical, mental, and emotional symptoms, providing clarity and direction on the path to healing.
At the heart of Daisuke’s practice lies a profound commitment to meeting each client’s unique needs with compassion and understanding. Whether addressing stress points, strengthening weaknesses, or nurturing overall health, he adapts his approach to ensure every individual receives the care and attention they deserve.

Head & Scalp Massage TherapistSatomi Hiratsuka
I’d like to introduce my wife, Satomi, who is a massage therapist. She is a National licensed Bone setter (specialist in acute traumatic injury treatment) in Japan and has worked alongside me for a long time at a Physiotherapy clinic in Tokyo. Her massages have been highly acclaimed by many patients since then, and she is one of the therapists I deeply respect. Satomi’s massage, performed with her innate sensitivity and the warm, gentle and big hands inherited from her grandfather, a judo practitioner who excelled on the world stage, is a unique talent.

About our clinicWrapped in Tranquility
Framing our entrance is a NOREN from Katsuyama, the storied textile town of Okayama.
Woven from pure, natural fibers, its twin palettes change with the seasons—breezy hues for
spring-summer, richer tones for autumn-winter.
Pause at the doorway and feel the air itself change.

Even the moss carries intention: a discreet Tai-chi that honors yin-yang harmony. It waits, unseen, until gentle lighting lets its form come to life.
